XS and 11 pro were the best iPhones ever made

Ceramic glass now scratches easier but more crack resistant

im willing to argue X was better than both, it completely changed how people used iphones

More important, sure, but better? With how quickly Apple stopped giving it substantial new features as they focused on ML stuff that needs the A12 or newer, I’m not convinced.
