The only ray of sunshine this morning is me thinking of the total absurdity of that Velus end zone debacle and the meme that the Chargers sent out after the game. I mean, all Velus needed to do was stand there and catch the ball. Instead, he slipped and fell over. However, the football gods were attempting not to deny him this day, so they had the ball fall directly onto him on the ground, yet he still dropped the ball. Only in America.
It was like the ball rolled over his entire body where every single extremity had multiple chances to catch the ball.
But still dropped.
