Need help with an locked Phone (alien.top)

English is not my native language, sorry for spelling mistakes.

Me and my dad have an IPhone ( I think a 12er ) from my dead mom, unfortunately we both do not know the password for the IPhone. Is there any way to unlock the phone without entering the password?

With the passcode or passphrase for the phone itself? No there's not help for that.

But you can gain access to her Appleid account, with the correct documentation, certificates and court documents. You can contact Apple and they will tell you what is required. You can also ask them to check for legacy contact info.

And hopefully there is a recent backup on her account that you can restore from, or access on browser through iCloud etc, and preserve some photos, mementos, or other data.
