Use proxies and anything can pull off 4k editing. I use M1 Air 8 when I'm not using my Ryzen 1600 16gb with rtx3060. Stay away from complex vfx and it should be ok.

1600AF actually but yes, I sometimes feel I could use a CPU upgrade.

Yeah I mean you really should to get the most out of the 3060. I know the 1600AF is basically a 2600 but there's a good amount of much better cpus for cheap now. Especially used.

I was running a 2600 with a 6600xt with no problems but something got friend and been too lazy to troubleshoot. Started using my laptop as a desktop. Need to get fixing.
