Idk why people think firing our HC in the middle of the season would be any different or better than firing them in the offseason. The only reason is the fans get quicker gratification. Otherwise you’re stuck with an interim who is typically even worse than the original HC. We’re gonna be bad this season no matter what why bother firing people in the middle of it

Because there is a glimmer of hope that the interim HC will put players in the position to succeed and maybe see some improvement in the team. Our situation is probably impossible since our HC is also our DC.

I think this is exactly the reason why they are still here. It's an unusual situation that would be complicated to fill. We also haven't heard any news about a new DC all season. This might be another sign Poles is just letting this year play out so he can start fresh
