Stealing isn’t OK, but I always found it a bit disjointed how making “mistakes” (minor or large) at self-checkouts basically has zero recourse. They really do need to be reworked
They're not talking about mistakes, regular cashiers make mistakes all the time, they're talking about people who load up a cart and walk out the front door or run out the emergency exit.
