I believe what OP is referring to is that Mozilla/Firefox gets a significant payout for using Google as its default search engine - hence having integrations with other privacy-focused organisations that can assist with funding would be a plus - however since a lot of these are not-for-profit orgs, I dont think this is particularly viable.
