My teenage daughter with special needs recently got an iPhone. I have set parental controls to limit apps at 9 pm. However sometimes she is on the phone instead of homework in the afternoons. I can take the phone from her, but this can be a triggering event. Is there an app or setting that would allow me to lock/unlock the phone remotely or cut off access to the cell tower? With her WiFi TV, I use Gryphon to turn off the Internet, but with her iPhone she can use AT&T's mobile data.

If taking the phone will cause a “triggering event” then disabling the phone is going to as well.

Time to be a parent and require her to relinquish the phone at 9pm. It’ll be tough at first.
