I crashed into a car when I was out cycling right after I got my new watch, and it immediately detected and did a countdown to calling the ambulance. Thankfully I was with my partner so I stopped the countdown since it was mostly just a big bruise on my leg, but if I were by myself and something bad happened, it would be a lifesaver. As for the shower bit, I quite often just keep it on for short showers; just make sure to use the water lock, or if you’re using a lot of product might be better to remove it. Also don’t use bands with tiny holes or crevices where water may get stuck!
