update it's back to normal tonight. only issue is I can't get it to charge to 100. I put it on for bed the same time every night, and it knew my schedule before. even leaving it on the charger an extra half hour didn't move the needle. so I'm starting sleeping at 97 and have 96 after 45 minutes.
