I still haven't found a practical use for it.

This morning, my watch alarm went off. Tried to double-tap to turn it off. Since my watch is still in Sleep Focus, the screen doesn't turn on, so the double tap doesn't register. I had to press the crown to turn the screen on, and then the double tap worked.

During a workout, a double-tap to pause would be nice. But no actions register during a workout.

It's gimmicky.

Not sure why you would want a double-tap to pause a workout. The reality would be there would be so many accidental pauses your workout won't be tracked properly.

I use Quick Actions as I'm on Series 7 but for me the benefits have been: closing notifications, playing and pausing music, taking photos without needing to look down and press the button, stopping timers and snoozing alarms.

I used Quick Actions for a few weeks on my Series 7 and never accidentally paused a workout. But since it does work to pause a workout, it was really nice being able to do so when I had the feature enabled.

What was far more likely to happen was I double-pinched in an attempt to pause, but nothing registered. This generally happened when I wasn’t standing up.

I’ve never seen an option to pause the workout, only unpause. Are you sure you’ve paused the workout before?
