If I use the search function either through the control panel or the Home Screen tile I only get results for music or podcasts.

Is anyone else experiencing this and/or know how to fix it?

I just did a search and the same is true for me.

I do NOT use Apple Music and have changed nothing in terms of configuration so this appears to be a glitch that arose "spontaneously" and not from any user action.

I always found the Apple search to be a bit ineffective as it never picked up all the possibilities from my streamers anyway but this is really broken.

Thanks for additional info. Helps clarify a few things. I think I’ll log it as an issue then on their feedback page.
