Dropped it from waist height in parking lot. Surprising how less durable this yearβs iPhone is. My Xs and 13 Pro fell so many times with much more heights but only scuffs and dents. It seems to be the slight curve at the edge of the glass is causing the glass to be weak.
it depends on where it impacted. Phone glass is typically very resistant to head-on impacts but very fragile when the edge impacts, which looks like is what happened here.
