It’s always been Olu over Alt, but recently I’ve seen rumblings that Alt would be preferable to Alt. It may be due to Olu being more or less a top 5 lock, while Alt could just be a top 10 lock. It also may be Olu struggling a bit against (I forget if it was Tuimoloau or Sawyer) OSU, or it may just be PFF’s incomplete high ratings they’ve given Alt that everyone fawns over, but those same PFF scores have rated Sam Mustipher well for us in games where he looked like a kid that found a genie lamp and wished he was in the nfl, but didn’t wish for nfl talent. But the thing is, if you trade down because you’re comfortable landing Alt later in the top ten and you miss out, well then you have missed out on both. To me, both are better than the top perceived OT from last year that went 6th overall.
For what it’s worth, PFF rated Mustipher’s performance against the NY Giants last year as a 6/100, so I don’t know where you got that example from.
