In Fields' last 4 games (3.5 considering the injury) he's got 1076 total yards, 9 TD and 3 TO. If you break that down to a per-game average, that's 270 YPG, 2 TD and 1 TO.

If you asked ANYBODY before the season started whether they'd take 270 and 2 TD per game they would be over the moon.

OK but he hasn't played 3.5 games this season, he's played 7. All QBs have good and bad streaks, that's why you need to look at their performances over time.

Right and you also look at trends. And the trends show he was bad to start the season was very good for 2 games, had a half of a bad game and was very good again. I'd say playing like a top 10 QB in 3 of his last 4 starts is a great trend. It's better than him being shit in those games.
