Make Eberflus the defensive coordinator next year. But I guess it would be awkward to fire a head coach to just have him on the team next year.

MMW: Eberflus is back next season with a shiny new DC and OC, Poles will say it's because how much better the defense became, but it's really because he has a 3 year contract and ownership is too cheap to eat his 3rd year and pay another HC.

I think most HCs get a 4 yr guaranteed contract, but I could be wrong. Even more reason they’d retain him
