I like Fallout, so why do I think this looks “too much” like Fallout?

I think it's because Fallout, as a world, is supposed to be an alternate version of our world, whereas this looks decidedly "Fallout." Once it becomes far enough removed from our timeline, much of the commentary and worldbuilding ceases to be as relatable as before.

Just my 2 cents.
