I don't think you even need consent-o-matic. uBlock Origin can block the cookie popups (it's just not enabled by default)

Wat, I just looked this up, you go to settings > filter lists > annoyances.

You can block popup nags as well! This is game changing.

In found this often breaks sites, so the combination is still better.

More often than not the annoyance filter hides the popup/consent page in its entirety, without bypassing it, and the website is unusable.
