I feel so sorry for James Shaw.

Does anyone know what the procedure is here if Golriz needs to step down permanently? Does she stay a member until the next election, does the next person on the list step up?

Oh wow, so it's still unclear whether there anything more than just accusations. What a mess, but I look forward to this playing out.

Possibly, but given the police are involved, I'd be taking it pretty seriously. Filing a false complaint is a crime, after all.

People don't necessarily shoplift for logical reasons. It'll be an interesting one to watch, for sure.
