The strikes from the United States and United Kingdom targeted Houthi sites, including 'deeply buried' weapons caches, as well as air defence systems.

The Houthis are an Iran-backed rebel group that has been attacking western commercial and military vessels in the Red Sea in opposition to Israel’s military actions in Gaza.

They've been doing this for ages though, and are just using the Israel - Gaza operation as an excuse to try and justify it.
