Used to love exploring for hours on end, but as I’m getting older it’s just not happening anymore and I don’t feel the same rush.

Same. My spotify library has gotten to a point where it's fun to rediscover albums though, I use this random album selector a good bit: https://www.nativenoise.co.za/spotify/album-selector/ (I can't believe spotify doesn't have this option built-in)
