It's wild that a sector of the gaming public is stuck on "Epic vs Steam" as a real thing that exists and a console wars-style thing.
Also that, despite the author saying he doesn't particularly like Epic, we're out here surfacing the idea that acknowledging the very real issues with Steam flags you as "paid by Epic". Because clearly Epic's strategy is to go hire Mr. Corbin Davenport from The Spacebar to write a negative article about Steam.
