This is literally the movie version of Clue.
Book version no?
The movie starts with "based on the famous novel".
Chaos ensues.
The Coen Brothers said Fargo was based on a true story.
It is not true that a lady died trying to recover the money in the movie however. That death was ruled a suicide and then rumors started spreading.
