I remember seeing Lemmygrad here, but now its gone along with how many members there are. This may be an accidental attack on communists joining. Or others. I'm not sure, I only joined here very recently.

why does it get removed from join lemmy? i noticed it wasn't there when looking yesterday.
I think if the instance is down it won't show. There are other conditions too, like if new registrations are open.
oh okay, makes sense. i was wondering if it's lemmy developers being pressured by the mobs, but seems like it isn't.
That's probably for the best, if we're down then we don't need new users piling in at that exact moment.
