but also it's ubisoft so i'm sure they're using him cynically
No question. But gamers' thoughts and opinions have the depth of a shallow puddle so as soon as they see a black man in Japan its "Ubisoft woke, SJW, DEI, Sweet Baby aaaaaaaaaah"
That's the majority of comments along with "ummm ACKSHUALLY he was never a retainer" nevermind this game had Leonardo Da Vinci as some secretive inventor for the assassins who also helped discover that aliens were behind everything
