Does it just overclock your cpu to introduce instability that might flip the correct bits back to their normal state?
They shouod also introduce Phone a Friend where it remotely opens a debugger on the dev's computer.
It uses the speed of light to irradiate the ram, increasing the chances of a correcting bit switch.
