Yeah i was gunna say, i remember having grapples as a kid. This isnt that new of a thing.

Although if this video is showing the process, that's pretty cool. I have no idea how it's done. I'm in public right now so i cant watch the video

The very first thing they talk about is grapples and how they're no longer sold. Then they recreating it by looking at the instructions in the patent for it from the company once making grapples

Yes but I ALREADY KNOW WHAT GRAPPLE IS

[–] mwproductions@lemmy.world 3 points 1 year ago

It does, more or less. In true NileBlue fashion, things don't go quite as initially planned.

But that word already exists and it's a verb.

I had one. It came in a 4 pack. It did taste like grapes and still had a slight apple taste but I still felt disappointed. Didn't see it around long.

Why were you disappointed?

[–] Labtec6@lemmy.world 2 points 1 year ago (1 children)

In not totally sure. I thought maybe something more than just something that has grape flavour added. Maybe a slightly different texture or something. It tasted good and was crunchy but at $6 a pack, I wouldn't buy another one.

$1.50 for a grape-flavored apple is a lot

In my neck of the woods, 1.50 is the going price for a decent Apple. A shitty red delicious is 1.25.
