It kinda "blows my mind" that nobody has done a dark comedy about the assassination. It's one of those tales that is just loaded with goofs and fuckups, and then through sheer luck and happenstance the assassin got an opening. I've always loved the idea of multiple dueling time travelers all messing with each other resulting in the history we got.
I wanna see the scene of Čabrinović fucking up his suicide in the most slapstick way possible

>kills no one
>swallow cyanide pill
>jump off bridge
>cyanide pill was expired
>vomit
>it was the dry season
>break both legs
>get beaten by crowd
>get arrested
The Whitest Kids You Know could have done a skit on this. They did have one skit making fun of the lax security around Abraham Lincoln at Ford's Theater.
I could see a very good drunk history if nothing else.
