I don't have a stake in this right now, but isn't this essentially market manipulation the same way Elon was doing for dogecoin?

The argument could be made, yes. Until DFV had this level of celebrity he was just a guy doing live streams about his wild investment ideas. That's totally legal, but I'd bet he's wading through murkier waters now though.
