In my childhood, during computer lessons in school, we played a game which I don't remember the name. It was a guy with a jetpack that goes forward over different stages. Any clues?

There's also Dangerous Dave. You don't always wear a jetpack, but every level has a jetpack that you can grab to fly over dangerous areas (or to secret levels!).

For example Dangerous Dave (1988) fits your description: video timestamp at 8m35s
