Can we see the number of downvotes on a comment/post on this instance? (vlemmy.net)

I've noticed that on some other instances, the number of downvotes is displayed along side the upvotes counter, but on this one, unless I specifically downvote a comment, the count doesn't show up. Other instances, sometimes have this, along with kbin.

Are you sure its not showing the down vote count because there are just no down votes on the post yet? I can see the down votes figures on the posts that have been down voted

Not sure, but I've seen some comments with a rating of 0 or lower that apparently do not have any downvotes, and when I click on the downvote button, the counter appears saying 1 as if I was the only downvoter, weird

No, this is definitely an issue. I assumed it had something to do with moderation policy on other instances which don't support downvotes but maybe there is a misunderstanding? A post will not show counts, you downvote, and suddenly it shows 2-3 downvotes.

Maybe between the time OP’s client loaded the initial thread cache, to when the OP scrolled to comment, then finally tapped downvote, other users had already downvoted?
