I wasn't really expecting much higher than 10th from him in Q3, so this isn't that bad if they can lineup tomorrow without taking any grid penalties

Mhm, and also high downforce, low speed tracks (relatively speaking).
Am I misremembering? I thought Williams' strong suite was high speed tracks before the break.
Either way, Albon is always good in wet conditions.
My comment was directed at the McLarens, and you're right, historically (2022 and this year) Williams have been quick at high speed tracks.

Ferraris are looking strange today. Locking up and sliding eveywhere
That's at least the third time that's happened to Leclerc today.
Between the two of them they have missed the first corner 4+? Times.
This could just be an extension of leclerc's habbit of pushing beyond what is possible
Could be, but he was on a cool down lap, right?
I think he was on a cool down one or two other times too. This is definitely a bit odd.

Sainz, realizing McLaren will be a threat, tries to innocently take them out. Clever.
Edit: Well, right now Ferrari are only a threat to themselves.
Albon and that Williams really love these conditions, on this track.
I'm so happy to see McLaren making a strong showing after the last few years. Excluding Redbull, I think the second half of the season is theirs to lose.
The difference between Max and Perez is similar to the difference between Albon and Logan.

Kinda surprised to hear the optimism about Ricciardo coming back next year despite the injury.
Do we know how severe the injury is, yet? It didn't seem that bad, and it would be harsh to dismiss him for missing a couple of races this season. If Lawson wins today, he might be in trouble, though.

Its a shame because they were actually competitive in these conditions, but on a dry track, not so much
What did Leclerc set on the top of the car before he removed the wheel?
It sort of looked like a Ferrari branded tape measure.
Seatbelt buckle. All the harnesses clip into one central point on F1 belts iirc. I think itโs normally left attached to one of the over the shoulder belts
Ah, you're definitely right. I had no idea they could be removed entirely, I thought they were permanently attached to one of the straps.
Why did they take out Lewis that early? Did they think โP9 is safe, good enoughโ while there were still drives on the course?
He pushed his second to last lap. I don't know why they didn't do another warm up and push on the last one. Weird call
Damn verstappen always pulls shit out of the bag when it is needed. Also piastri bungeled it when it mattered the most
So the intermediate runners got away with the dodgy call then, since nobody apart from Albon got a good lap in on the softs
