The U.S. needs to abandon Israel completely. We should have no relationship with them at all at this point other than to protect the innocent from their insatiable blood-thirst.

Rule 5: Keep it civil. It's OK to say the subject of an article is behaving like a (pejorative, pejorative). It's NOT OK to say another USER is (pejorative). Strong language is fine, just not directed at other members. Engage in good-faith and with respect! This includes accusing another user of being a bot or paid actor. Trolling is uncivil and is grounds for removal and/or a community ban.
Similarly, if you see posts along these lines, do not engage. Report them, block them, and live a happier life than they do. We see too many slapfights that boil down to "Mom! He's bugging me!" and "I'm not touching you!" Going forward, slapfights will result in removed comments and temp bans to cool off.

Disgusting, and despite the "criticisms" thrown at Israel nothing will change and more innocent people will die.
Meanwhile we have proof that we have leverage; Aid into Gaza went back up after we threatened to withhold weapons from the Israelis.

Gladly, they even let 30 truckloads into northern Gaza. The IDF made an announcement for it and specifically said that they follow international law. Completely ignoring the fact that they had to be threatened to do so.
Any sources that aren't The Jerusalem Post - whose source in the article isn't "Israeli Media"? Cannot find any other sources that match this '30 Truck' number.
It's all Israeli sources because COGAT made the press conferences. I realize COGATs promises aren't worth the paper they're printed on but it shows that they are afraid of the US pulling weapons.
The amount of trucks coming in is nowhere near enough. It's still a downgrade from before which was already barely enough to begin with. Israel is deliberately starving the Palestinian population.

Well, when I worked in Palestine, we only saw a murder about once per week on average (sometimes as long as once per month in a "good" month). Its not every day.
My point is that things are quantitatively much worse now than they have been since 1948.

I think sentiment is changing. Recently I'm noticing more US mainstream media using language like

It's a small thing, it's better than the softer language they would normally use. But, damn, it's not enough.
They are still directly implying the genocide is retaliation. This is the crux of all the propaganda.
Every Israeli expansion has been under the guise of self defense. It always follows the same order:
