What's a heavy bipedal build like? How do you take this fella into fights?

MODERATORS
He's actually more mobile than he looks because I put high output engine and good boosters on him. I circle strafe a lot and bunny hop in the air. Occasionally I've had to change the build for boss fights but that's part and parcel to this game
Mine is comparatively lanky
I cannot beat the helicopter.
Assault boost + melee strike
I will attempt to punch the helicopter.
I beat the helicopter on my first try. The boss at the end of chapter 1 took me 70 tries and 6 hours.
But honestly, for bosses the plasma sword does massive amounts of stagger then you follow up with everything you still have ammo for
o7 Your skill exceeds my own. I will look to you as an inspiration when next I fight the unnatural mockery of the humble oak tree whirly seed. 
One more tip, replay missions a bunch. You get paid the same every time and if you're stuck on a boss it's probably because you have a build that sucks for it.
Doing a bit of grinding on some of the earlier missions gives you tons of money to buy parts and if you die during a bossfight you're allowed to refit before you respawn. So don't worry about having a perfect build for the boss if it sucks for the early part of the mission.
