This strikes me as overwhelmingly Boomer because:

a) Boomers DID this shit, and laughed

b) their concern is only on how the child reflects on them

c) when the little girl grows up and rightfully calls out her parents abhorrent behavior, they'll hit her with the ol "that never happened." "I don't remember that."

Yes, I'm aware of the chip on my shoulder. That doesn't make me wrong.
