Given that a Tesla has a hard time identifying children and dark skinned people I can't see how this could go wrong.

I think this would be an instance where you don’t want the murder-bot to be able to identify you

[–] Marsupial@quokk.au 5 points 2 years ago

Eh as an unimportant rando, I’m more worried about incorrectly being identified as someone important rather than being singled out and targeted myself.

So basically it'll work exactly like the human-controlled drones, murdering children and brown people.

Mission accomplished.

So, here we are. Metalhead. We had a good run, fellow humans.

What could go wrong?

It begins.

Is this the right time to say It begins? This looks to me like an It begins moment.

[–] BellaDonna@mujico.org 3 points 2 years ago

Couples with AI this really is an it begins situation.

Straight up expect to see AI in law enforcement and observation. Drones everywhere? Sure, but have you considered insect sized drones? That's where the fun begins.

Can we just roll back to the time of sword&shield?

Can't be worse then the usa military controlling it

[–] ShittyBeatlesFCPres@lemmy.world 4 points 2 years ago

I feel safer already.

If there is any kind of weapon that is frowned upon in the whole world, then you can be sure that us military wants to have it and use it.

Skynet corp. has been working at an incredible pace these last two years. Which leads me to believe that the AI is already in control.

US military is the biggest threat to peace.

[–] Raisin8659@monyet.cc 3 points 2 years ago

How convenient. Now we can blame the "accidental" killing on the bots.

china's growing what

[–] moipe@lemmy.world 1 points 2 years ago

They had better have the ability to eat people. Otherwise we won't have a reason to make robot animals to deal with it.
