I had no idea horse drawn trams ever existed, let alone are still operated. Wikipedia says up to three trams are drawn by a horse, do they ever actually draw that many carriages?

Honestly I'm not sure. On the day I went (Wednesday), they only had 1 horse pulling 1.double decker tram
