Open List or Mixed Proportional Voting would be better. As the name suggests it would match the percentages to keep the proportions of representation accurate to what was voted for.

It's questionable as to whether there are any actual democracies in the world. So much of the modern human condition and thought is constrained by Capitalism, the Culture Industry, and the moneyed interests behind such things.

These graphs need to factor in eligelble votors that cast no ballot. Putting the "majority" into perspective.

Gotta add "Eligible but did not note" to those pie charts to give you an idea of how tragic it really is.

Thug Ford got a 67% majority provincial government with 7% of eligible voters choosing him.
