Just read this, it was really good at wrapping up the story and all the characters.

Comic Strips is a community for those who love comic stories.

I think it's a sign that there's going to be a significant reboot coming soon. After so much time had passed, it seems odd to have spent the time and energy to put out this final comic for what had effectively been an abandoned project. If Valve's putting money back into the game, then it stands to reason that they have upcoming plans for it. I wouldn't be surprised if they announce TF3 (or TF2:E1, knowing Valve) or some other spin-off in TF2's universe.
In all likelyhood they'll be focusing on doing a similar comic series for the new Deadlock game. I don't think we'll be seeing a TF3 for at least a decade.
Or, like, ANYTHING with a 3 in it.
