Wow, what a piece of shit. I hope this cop gets what's coming to him in the form of a long prison sentence, along with his cronies. I hope the court makes an example of this guy, but I'm not going to hold my breathe.
Edit: I bet he thought he was a big man beating up a 23 year old school teacher because he was too much of a snowflake to deal with being flipped off. I hope he loses everything in the legal battle, along with his family. Maybe his family is "innocent", but so were all the families of the people this guy presumably fucked his entire career.
