Trump will find out exactly how popular he is when he follows through with his tariffs and the purchasing power of the people who believed he would give them a break melts away. Those people had no patience for Biden's macroeconomic successes and they sure won't have any patience for the long term benefits of tariffs, if they ever materialize.

Meh, half the shit Trump says will never be followed through on. He just likes stirring shit to get people riled up and talking about him. And it works! lol

You misspelled UniversalMonk

I don't know what you mean in relation this article. Can you clarify?

I didn't write the article. Please feel free to write to ABC news if you have problems with the article.

Also I don't think that reporting the post to admins with the reason being: "sealioning conservative shitlord" is the best use of your time, and has nothing to do with this article. I'm not sealioning or conservative. Shitlord is debatable. But I think falsely reporting things is against ToS. Thanks!

"People coming around on Trump"

Bullshit. Dumb Americans and shit polling by weak broadcasting companies. At best he's gotten a bump bc he's not holding office. Only the most sycophantic polling won’t show a drop next week.

I remember that's what people said about the polls showing he was winning the election. And most of Lemmy said the same thing you said.

Annnnddd look what happened. The polls were right. lol

30% of Americans voted for Trump.

That's not very well liked.

Liked enough to win. Harris was even less liked.

[–] Doom@ttrpg.network 1 points 4 months ago (1 children)

That's your argument? Loser lmfao

Keep posting your lies kiddo

[–] UniversalMonk@sh.itjust.works 2 points 4 months ago (1 children)

Lies? So did Harris win and I somehow missed the fact?

Just let me know... Thanks!!

I didn't vote for Trump though.

[–] pooperNickel@lemm.ee 0 points 4 months ago (2 children)

I remember what you said. That you didn't want trump to win, and that he would lose by a landslide. Turns out both were lies.

Oh and I forgot to mention: I'm still here.

Your attempts to silence me still haven't worked.

Thanks, friend! :)

But I wasn't lying. I was telling the truth. I was just incorrect that he would lose. I still can't believe he won by such a large margin.

I didn't vote for him, I voted for Rachele Fruit, Socialist Workers Party candidate for U.S. president.

Thanks!

I didn’t vote for him, I voted for Rachele Fruit, Socialist Workers Party candidate for U.S. president.

So, you didn't vote for him, you were just fine with him winning. Gotcha!

[–] UniversalMonk@sh.itjust.works 1 points 4 months ago

I didn't like Trump or Harris. They're just the same to me.

I won't bow down to the Duopoly.

Thanks, friend! :)

According to 538's average of polls of Trump's favorability rating, 47.2 percent of American adults have a favorable view of the president-elect, compared to 47.4 percent who have an unfavorable view. That means his net favorability rating — the difference between these two numbers — is now the highest it has been since our tracking began on Jan. 30, 2021.

Not sure who/what to trust anymore :-). Over the time I became so numb to politics and I really wanted to be involved. It's just not possible anymore. Everyone's praising their sources but question is whether those "sources" can be trusted. Over the past 4 years we learned that censorship is really strong from the government and controlling the media is an ultimate goal for every government whether it's blue or red. I guess I will just sit tight and continue reading this b/s until I go blind or insane :-)
