The scariest pumpkins I've seen.

Seriously.. that engine warning light, you don't want to see that late at night when there are vampires about.

having a sleeping bag in the trunk turns it into a mobile home. Vamps can't get in while I wait for roadside assistance ... in the morning because I'm not calling uber eats for them.

Engine light on isn't always scary, just means something has disturbed the normal course of things and might need some looking into. A flashing engine light however, that can be worse that even the low oil pressure (which is bad).

Battery just means your alternator is screwed up somehow. I've driven mine like a EV before with a charger along for the ride to charge back up. Not great on the battery long term, but for short trips it's doable.

Temp - well, that could be anything depending on if it's an idiot light or a gauge. See the needle on a gauge go up quickly, same rule as the flashing engine light. Pull over and shut down.

Doesn't flashing mean it's currently misfiring?
I agree that you need to pull over because you're gonna ruin your Catalysator ($$$) but the oil pressure light is definitively more scary as that means your engine will at the very least seize if there is no oil pressure.

In general it's a misfire, but the cause could be a lot of things, some more damaging than others. I've had one before and couldn't figure out the problem that caused it, but was able to restart, drive it home slowly, and not have it still flash, although I think it threw a code.
