For most of the morning, it seemed that pawb.social and pawb.fun were having issues loading/resolving. Did something change?

The server hosting the database crashed for a still unknown reason. Sometime around 5 am MT, the database server had a kernel panic and locked up, it’s been like that since then until we woke up to the alert this morning.

We’ve got a watchdog on the server and an auto-restart in case it hangs, and we’re working to migrate it away to a known stable server while we troubleshoot.

Database server had a kernel panic (crashed). You can get status updates from the telegram channel.

Thanks! I kept checking Telegram this morning, but it looks like I stopped just before you guys posted the update.

I'm just a user, not part of the hosting team or admin or anything. You're welcome though~

Database was like "Mondays, am I right?".

Every time a furry space goes down, I leap right to thinking it was furry haters ddossing it. We're too technical for it to be IT problems!

You say that, but given the stuff I've experienced at work, you can have a functional site that's still a garbage fire on the backend (not to say that Pawb is).
