You can't help but wonder if we're going to quickly approach a Time in which certain States, and hopefully not every state, produces students whose degrees are just worth less than others. Significantly less I mean, more so than now. To the point that colleges and even businesses won't consider applicants from certain areas of the country. I mean how many businesses can afford to hire people whose State education was such that they'd have to teach them remedial skills just to work.

This is already done by the elite wealthy ... it's called privatized education ... where parents pay directly to the school of their choosing because they can afford it.
Problem is .... most of everyone will not be able to afford to do this.
