  1. The repeated use of "showcase" instead of "show cause" just makes me sad. Copy-editing used to be a thing.

  2. He apparently still cheated under the rules at the time, and apparently, like, a lot, or else he was so utterly useless that he didn't know what was going on at the program. If anything, sounds like he should sue "Down in the Holler" UT, the boosters and Phil Fulmer.

fwiw, I personally think that coonskin cap UT did use Pruitt as a scapegoat. But they fired him for cause, and to quote Sam O'Nella "I'm mad butt hurt isn't a valid reason for prosecution"
