Ya know, to make money on Tariffs there needs to be a lot of trade going on.

But your Tariffs are killing the trade...

[–] VeryInterestingTable@lemm.ee 15 points 3 months ago (1 children)

Just increase tariffs to compensate for the decrease in trades. /s

No doubt he's writing that down as we speak.

When he applied tariffs to washing machines in 2018, people stopped buying. Demand and production decreased resulting in domestic job losses.

Now, not everything is not a washing machine, but that doesn't bode well.

Anyone who thinks this is just a shortcut to prosperity needs to look at history. In a country that expelled the Democrats due to affordability issues, this is not going to end well.

I may have missed it, but has anyone asked this tangerine buffoon to show his work? How does anyone believe this will bring in trillions? What data or evidence are they using to justify those numbers or any bogus claim that it will help the US. I dunno if it's irony, but in this instance facts don't care about your feelings. Unless they have some hard evidence then it's just this travesty of an administration governing by their feelings.

Evidence? Data? That sounds like woke liberal nonsense /s

A political party outright said their stance is "anti-science" and against truth and facts.

And then half the voters were like "yup, sounds good".

That's called mental-illness

I read in another thread that $2 trillion in stock value was lost within 15 minutes of his speech.
