Women only trans inclusive This is an inclusive community for all things women. Whether you're here for make up tips, feminism or just friendly chit chat, we've got you covered.

Rules…

  1. Women only… trans women are women, and transphobic or gender critical talk isn’t allowed. Any woman-identified person under the trans umbrella (e.g. non-binary, bigender, agender) is welcome.
  2. Don’t be a dick. No personal attacks, no aggression, play nice.
  3. Don’t hate on groups, hatefilled talk about groups is not allowed. Ever.
  4. No governmental politics, so no talk of Trump actions etc. We recommend Feminism@beehaw.org for that, but here is an escape from it.

I love it, but needs long sleeves or a cardigan

I really like my arms atm they're really toned. So I'd love the sleeveless top so I could show them up, plus the purple is amazing

Looks nice on her, but not my style at all. I like the trousers, but the shirt and the clutch are not my thing.

Yea i don't do clutches either. I'll end up forgetting it somewhere

Agreed. I think this looks really cute on her, and I normally have negative reactions to peplum styles. I love bold colors. I would even do a cheetah print on like shoes or a belt (not normally my thing but once in a blue moon I'd do it for fun). However, clutches are a pain in the rear unless I'm going somewhere like a wedding where I know a lot of the crowd so that I can leave it at the table and not worry about it.

I know peplum tops are divisive but I've always liked them... Maybe not this exact one because of the jewel-toned purple, but still. I feel like they work for me and my body type (I can't be the only one??) but second guess wearing them because the people who don't like them have STRONG opinions usually 😭

As for this outfit in particular, I think the only thing holding it back for me are the shades of purple and black clashing a bit. If the purple were a bit more plum, and/or the black a bit more gray, I think it would work better. I also think the seam at the waist should be brought up a bit, it seems a bit low and throws off the balance of the top, imo.

These are minor quibbles though and if I saw someone wearing this I wouldn't pass any judgment, it's just not my taste personally

I like it except for the bare arms.

Yup, my exact feelings aswell

Love me some bare arms, but that's about it. Purple and cheetah print aren't in my color palette. I could do red and zebra. Also don't care for the flared part of the top. I used to wear a lot of empire waist to try to hide my belly, but I've since realized it's not because I actually feel good in that style.

As someone said, it looks great on her.
