The slideshow is just the VÍTÁME VÁS / NA SHLEDANOU welcome/goodbye message (based on whether the panel is entry-/exit-facing, a URL, and wayfinding info such as "🠜 PŘEPÁŽKY 36, 38-44 / 🠝 RECEPCE, PŘEPÁŽKY 12, 13, 15-20, 28-29" . They absolutely could have used a way less powerful machine for this, or better utilized the screen estate (wayfinding on the welcome/URL screen as well? English?).
Does anyone know the software they're using? I recreated the icon:
A lot of digital signage runs on windows or a cut down version thereof. If you are already running a Windows office, and larger orgs often do, it means you can leave it in the care of that same tech team. If all you are doing is showing a slideshow you can run it on a cheap mini pc, even multiple screens off of one, but the screen is likely the expensive part.
No idea about that program. It's the most generic-ass icon you could have these days. Google thinks it's a weather app but that AI crap doesn't know anything. It might even be a web page running in application mode.
Could also run on BrightSign or similar. The icon let's assume it's some cloud software. OT: English should be mandatory for all signs in every European capital (at least). Additional languages might be used, too. C'mon, it's 2025! One small step for the sign makers, a leap for Europeanity. :)
This is quite a common thing in digital signage. Not fully sure why but probably just people going with kit they know how to maintain.
