What's wrong with being upset that the elite are able to go to space as a publicity stunt for one of the richest men in the world while the average person has no power and dwindling resources
People are mostly in simulacra about it. They are being manipulated by "Trickle Down Content" from billionaires. Rupert Murdoch, Elon Musk, etc.
A famous Redditor made front page for weeks starting December 4, 2024 - but the very sad story is that the 2010 book he was promoting itself can't be the topic for weeks. Only action gun violence and putting the book title on the bullet casings.
Health care has it's own incentive to be a topic. People get sick and need treatment. That's motivation enough for people to come together over a common cause and discuss insurance systems. But we can't do that, but we can give hundreds of front-page postings to discuss a murder. None of which addresses the topics / education / understanding in the 2010 book.
Further, the famous Redditor is an elite who comes from a golf course owning family like Donald Trump. So great, health care could become free, but then rent prices go from $2,700 a month to $5,200 a month... how does that solve anything?
Why can't social media users make the January 1944 "Second Bill of Rights" a front-page sustained topic instead of a murder?
What's wrong with being upset that the elite
Because we are in simulacra of resistance, react-commenting and not rising above to get everyone "on the same page" of common systemic problems.
