tell this to my 7.5 abv blueberry gose stout, hah!

I mean give me a good imperial stout or a double ipa any day. Much more intense flavor, and the higher abv means i dont have to chug 3 just to feel something, or drink 12 over the course of a night. I can sip 3 beers all night long and be great.

Strong, beers are awesome. Just don't like the people who act like lagers or weaker beers aren't flavorful.

Actual ale > American style fruit juice ipa

Any beer that isn't strong was designed to be that way for various reasons, and all of them rooted in profit. Counterpoint: strong beers get the job done quicker and with less dishware to clean after (exc. eventual consequences of inebriation), not to mention that they were invented to cow the workforce with fortified slumber off-hours. 🤷🏼‍♂️ Cheers!

budweiser was made weak to be net-hydrating for soldiers in wwii…

i definitely love a weak, light beer on a hot day… strong beer is for sunset

Budweiser's recipe was stolen from its homeland, FYI, where it had enjoyed hundreds of years of favor prior to WWII.

Also, I'm not bashing personal taste, merely pointing out that things like Prohibition (a for-profit scheme from the jump), et al, have been SOP for much of our collective "civilized" experience for longer than most of us are aware, or want to be.

Woah that's radical thinking there. Respect you for saying it though.

You're not familiar with the ancient origins of nutrient-rich, thicc AF fermented libations as human chattel distraction tools, I take it?
